A Collection of Oral Histories
As part of the Khachapuri and Fries project, researchers from the Program on Georgian Studies have conducted interviews with members of various Georgian diaspora communites about their immigration experiences, cultivation of diaspora communities, and preservation of Georgian cultural traditions. From the rodeo mastery of the Georgian trick riders to the rich history of Georgian Jewish communities, Georgian Diaspora communities in the US have organized and evolved in ways that push our understandings of Georgian and American identity.
