The website is not easy to navigate, but if you spend some time you will find a lot of interesting documents. Soviet historians may be interested in the journal and newspaper sections of the library, where digital copies of many Soviet periodicals can be found. Also, you can browse the thematic collections on the left sidebar of the main page. One can also go to the "Архив" page and find publications/authors/publishers using the Latin alphabetic indicators. For example, if you go to the "K" folder, you will find a subfolder named "KPSS". Opening that folder, you will find a lot of downloadable document collections and other types of publications related to the Soviet CPSU. Do remember to open the HTML file in the subfolder, which would lead you to a new page with downloadable documents.
